There's no reason why this family can't have a few chickens.

I live in Bedford and support backyard hens. They are more beneficial than dogs and quieter as well

I am signing this petition because these are pets yo the Taylor family. And do not negatively impact their neighbours. HRM has made a decision to change the current bylaw restricting backyard chickens. It is not the Taylors fault it will take 18-24 months to instituite the bylaw.

Pitiful, the city should have bigger things to worry about, I would think it is a good thing to supply your own eggs, just like growing a garden, etc., being self sufficient. Good luck.

Get it done, HRM council. Legalize backyard chickens. There should be a pause on actions until the HRM votes in favor of allowing a restricted number of stock.

If people can have monkeys, rats, birds, we should also be allowed to have chickens ...

They are nice animals! The neighbour should move. Some humans are so hateful. They are not doing harm to anyone. KEEP THE HENS!

Perhaps there is a way to get rid of the annoying neighbour. By the tone of the comments of the people living in that neighbourhood they would be in favour of signing a petition to get rid of them before getting rid of the hens.
