If we loose all our historic sites, we loose all our past. and it's beauty. I would say if another Dollar store comes in, simply agree not to shop there.

This is a historical building and should be treated as such. Pickens County does not need another damn dollar store...or gas station...or pharmacy...or grocery store...or church. The history and heritage of the County is at stake here. If you absolutely have to build anything, at least make it something that actually matters!!!

A Dollar General in the purpose location would be a huge mistake! The community would not take this lightly and protests should be expected. This right knit community would object to patronizing the store regardless of convenience. Few costumers should be expected. I got one would NEVER shop there!

Pickens County has enough Dollar Stores, Liquor Stores and gas stations (none of which charges much different than the others). There are many more businesses that we would like to see here! Stop Dollar General (again)!

I think this is rediculous! Who the hell wants more dollar general's?? Why can't we have something that kids can enjoy?? Like a movie theater or a skating ring?? Something we don't have here in pickens county.
