Why not put it on one of those walmart out parcels on 515. Already denuded of vegetation and ready to go. No more sprawling into residential areas.

Of all the things, they want ANOTHER Dollar General? If we're gonna spend tax dollars on another business, why don't we put a little extra effort in building something with VALUE.

Dollar stores do not add intrinsic value to the economic development of Pickens County, especially in this area. County should hold a moratorium on retail and restaurants until the ratio of commercial non-retail and manufacturing levels are increased to provide increased wages in the community.
