I thought this had been turned down a few months ago. I hope it will continue to be turned down. There is no need or desire for this.

This store is not needed or wanted. The intersection is already dangerous with an S-curve leading into it and two streets intersecting at this point (Grandview & Griffith Rd.). The last thing we need is more traffic here. Most of us who enter this intersection by way of Grandview Rd. will now change our route into town to avoid it, thus bypassing the store.

Opening a store on Cove Road is an awful idea.

Tell them to sod off. Cramming this town/county full of low tier skill jobs is not helping anything or anyone, brings no commerce and doesn't keep people of young age in this county for work so they go else where. Not to mention, a dollar general? Honestly...

Stop with the junk stores already. Get some high quality stores in here.

We already have two such stores in our small town. Also, and more importantly the road that it would be on does not need an increase in traffic flow. It is already at capacity for the curves and stops on it.

Do not ruin our residential country side. We moved here to get away from stores traffic etc. because of the developers greed , you will spoil our peace! We will never shop at a dollar general again !!!!!

the old building should be in the historic society, and i agree Cove rd could not support the over sized trucks that would have to travel there on.

We have had property here for 40 years, and have lived here for full time for 8 years. We love the forested, tranquil community we have maintained. Never, even once, have we wanted to have a store closer than in town. Our life is here now, or so we thought. Do we need to move again? WE DO NOT WANT, NOR DO WE NEED, A DOLLAR STORE IN OUR MIDST!

Dollar General already has 5 stores located in Pickens County. There is no need for another. Not to mention that a retention pond is also in the plans. This will create mosquito problems. Water drainage problems already exist now with the runoff of rain water going across the south end of the property. This is most likely an E.P.A. situation that might need to be addressed.

We need to keep the historic building as they are, it is a treasure to our town

Please don't bring dollar general. We simply don't need it and to replace a historic building is a terrible idea.

Not necessary at all. Do not destroy a historical building to build something we already have so many of.
