This low budget looking commercial venue would be extremely out of place in this location and would negatively impact the surrounding residential areas. Plenty of close chain stores in close proximity with more commercial neighbors.

This old store is a treasure! I would hate to see it go. A Dollar General would not survive in this position anyway.

As residents of Bent Tree, I can say there is no need for this and it is incredibly sad to see a historic site torn down. Please don't add another Dollar General!!

I think it is a mistake to put a Dollar General here. The location is too close to the S-curve on Cove Road and I think an increase in traffic will be very dangerous.

I moved to pickens to get away front all the clutter of businesses on every corner and it seems to have following me here. There is a place for this store but its not here.

To Dylan Clark, If you want them to build something of greater value, why don't you contact them and tell them to build it next door to your house? I'm sure we will all come and patronize the store if they build it next to you! This is a better idea!
