My family's history in Ashford goes back a long way - it would be very sad to see this building, which means so much to so many, disappear.

Important part of Ashford's Heritage and Nursing history. My mother worked as a nurse there and later as a Nursing Tutor. I worked in the Pathology Laboratory in the late 1960's and felt the strong sense of community that existed amongst the Hospital employees and in their care for their patients.

I live near to this historic building and am appalled that Abbey Homes might be able to wriggle out of their obligations under the Planning agreement. This building is part of Ashford's history and should continue to be so.

Save the building. It has historical significance . Lived up the road and had procedures done there.

Ashford has been ruined by developers. There is hardly anything left of the old town. Now the tech college has gone.n

The leader of the council Gerry Clarkson needs to get off his backside and insist it stays. Nice to see the historians fighting hammer and tong. They know how much the building means to the people of Ashford.

I used to work in this lovely building in 1968 and it would be such a shame to see yet another iconic building vanish.
