This building is part of the history of Ashford. There is no need to demolish it. The Developers should stick to the approved scheme. To much of old Ashford has already been destroyed.

Please don't knock down anymore of our heritage, the town is becoming faceless and losing all character. This is an impressive building and needs to be kept and is also very personal, my mum spent a fair bit of time there too.

For some reason Ashford Borough Council has been seen to be intent on wiping out all of Ashford's historical buildings and landscapes. These old buildings need to be preserved and used appropriately, not pulled down to make way for 'new builds'. Future generations don't just want to see these historical places in old photos - they want to be able to see them first hand. If this building is allowed to be demolished, it will be another chunk of Ashford's history turned to dust.

This building has been around for many a year. My Brothers were born here. It shouldnt be demolished.

I was born in this hospital; some things are worth saving, rather than just demolishing everything.

Do not let them pull down another of Ashfords remaining old buildings. All we will have left is old black and white photos of what things used to look like before concrete and glass took over!

I was a patient here under Dr. Glover until the age of 16 (1968) for the treatment of epilepsy.

I worked there in 1971 as a domestic, then moved to WHH, Ashford Hospital was my 2rd home.

Too many historical buildings have been lost in the Town. We need to preserve as many as possible.

It's a shame to think that this building too, could be lost to Ashford . Too much has gone already.!!!

Please this historic building. I have seen far too many old Ashford buildings demolished to make way for poorly built rubbish.

I am old enough to remember the hospital in use and therefore have an affinity with it and it's place in Ashford. Increasingly buildings like this are being repurposed rather than demolished as they represent a continuum in the town. If we demolish all our history, how will we be able to define our future. Apart from all that, our forebears spent a lot of their own money to build this. Please don't let developers destroy it!
