Yes i work there at Ashford Hospital for about 5 years it was a very good Hospital i was with Ray Brown.Taffy Jones.Terry Richardson.Headporter was Gordon Martin & i was a hospital porter there.

Having been born there, this building is a primary part of Ashford's Heritage and deserves to be preserved / refurbished ( as done with the old Willesborough cottage Hospital), Also knowing from personal experience the Greedy thoughtless nature of Abbey Homes' of our community- we should not succumb to their Fat-Cat tactics.

The council should ask the public as they let too many old buildings get knocked down.
Even if it's turned into flats the building should be left as it is from the outside.

I was born there. Leave it where it is and make use of it. Can't it be turned into apartments rather than knocked down?

As a new resident of Kings Avenue, old ashford hospital site. We where sold the idea that the old hosipital was going to be refurbished and made into new homes. I strongly feel that abbey homes should be made to follow through on this plan as the build is iconic to the history of ashford and adds character the the area.

Take a look at Willesborough maternity hospital in the 21st century, it has to be an inspiration for any future plans here?..Ashfords significant buildings have to be preserved, because when they are gone, they are gone & what is left in the developers wake? Dont get me started on the Corn Exchange please!

This would be a great shame to loose this historic building to Ashford. Paid for by the Ashford people & the foundation stone layed by Duke of York, King George V1 in 1926. It will be more history lost for ever. Please don't allow this to happen.

As the only museum in Ashford Kent we feel it's our duty to keep history alive. We loose so many historic buildings which means we loose history forever. This building could be converted to flats as they did to the old Willesborough Hospital. The people of Ashford raised most of the money to build this hospital for the use of those in the Ashford area. The museum still hold the original trowel & mawl used by Duke of York (King George V1) and we would hate to see another build end up in dust.
