Dixie Joe's is the BEST!!! Why shut them down when they have already been approved and doing everything right and required by them. It looks to me like they should be grandfathered in by the county since they were approved years ago! Always one bad apple in the bunch. The neighbors of three years had to have known that a business was there if they did their research like most people should do so they are pleased with their living surroundings. This is this family's business and income and I am sure they pay taxes in the county!!! Some of the best people you will ever meet!

As hard as they have worked to create an outstanding business with the kindness they show to every customer and the best crabs and seafood in the area I cant believe them closing thier doors is even an option if they were given approval kept to code met every standard put in front of them and try and give back to the community the best they can how can said approval just be taken away or changed it is not right and who ever is making this decision is an idiot

I think y’all trying to shut them down is total bs. They got permission to run this business. This is their lively hood. I think this needs to be rethought. They also give back to the community. Please take this into consideration they are not harming anyone

They have always been very respectful people to deal with. They r like family in the area. There has never been any problems there. It would be a terrible thing if u dont let them stay there .

If there was a problem with zoning then the county would not have allowed them to open in the first place. Dixie Joe's has every right to stay where they are.

We live in Partlow and have been going to Dixie’s Crab Shack for years. It’s sad that someone can find a glitch in the system and just shut a small business down. From what I’m hearing one complaint is how customers drive down the gravel road to their business. As a customer I always respect their neighbors. They even have signs asking their customers to do so. I can tell you I live on a gravel road here in Partlow and people, mostly neighbors, always fly up and down our road. We also operate a small business Spotsylvania County since 2005 and I find it worrisome that someone could find a glitch made in our zoning and shut our business down.
