The court finally granted the permanent adoption and Little K is officially ours forever. I am overwhelmed with relief knowing she is safe and home for good. Thank you for walking this long and difficult road alongside her.

Final supporters
"Little K" is a happy, healthy 3 year old girl. She has an amazing family, and support system. Handfuls of "aunties" and "uncles" a puppy named Bentley and a crazy big brother and sister whom she loves to death. Unfortunately; this has not always been the case.
On August 31 of 2016, Jenn Ingram was busy packing backpacks, and getting her two children Keagan and Kianna ready for their first days of grade 3 and 4 the following day. She received a phone call around 8pm from a frantic Mother about to lose her child. See "little K" just 2 years old at the time was found in a storage unit - alone, scared and hungry. Social Services intervend for obvious reasons and told "Little K's" mother that she would be going into foster care if a family member or a friend could not provide nessesities of life for her. In steps Jenn. Former friends from childhood "Little K's" mother contacted Jenn and asked if she could stay there for a couple of weeks. With NO hesitation on Jenn's part she opened her families home to a scared, and sad little girl.
Social services showed up on Jenn's doorstep with "Little K" ; and "Little K" only. Jenn took to Facebook looking for anybody who was willing to help her out for the time being with clothes, toys etc and an army of "Little K" supporters was born.
In a short couple of weeks from today that "couple of weeks" with "Little K" will officially hit the one year mark. She has a mommy who she loves with all her heart. A big brother and sister who need to come home ASAP after sleepovers with friends because she misses them. Auntie Janine who she cannot go longer than a couple days without seeing, a grandma and papa who have welcomed her with loving arms. A handful of aunties and uncles, a best friend named Taylor and an army of supporters. However "Little K's" thriving, happiness and health is once again at risk.
She has YET to be apprehended, and the government Is pushing Jenn to sign private guardianship. With this, her birth mother can do and say what she wants in her life and Jenn has no option for adoption. She Has seen her mother 5 times in this year and has proven that she is not a priority at this time.
Jenn has refused to go this route as it is NOT in "Little K's" best interest. So now, they're trying to give her to her mothers boyfriend who at the time of her being found in a storage unit, was already dating the birth mother. The mother has been unsuccessful in multiple attempts in detox and rehabilitation and has not taken the proper steps required to care for any of her four children.
This is where you come in. "Little K" is a helpless child who needs a voice. Who has overcome a mountain of issues and still needs patients, love and support. She can find this with our army of supporter and Jenn's family.
Please help be "Little K's" voice and sign the petition. Let's keep her where she deserves to be in the arms of HER mother!

Watching this list grow reminds me how many people now care about Little K like our own family does. We need just a few more names to hit our first big goal before I bring this petition to the officials.

Hoping for the best! Every little girl deserves a safe place. If my dad and stepmom never stepped in, I would have been living with a mother who didn't put her kids at the top, left her 2 year old and baby alone. I feel for her, I hope for the best!
As a child care giver and currently in my second level of early childhood education and development I strongly believe this child should not be returned to her birth mother and should remain with jenn in a safe supporting environment
I am curious what the birth mother wants to see happen? The reason I ask is if born mom is in support of Jenn being the girls caregiver and the girl has not been apprehended from the birth mother, they can by pass child and family services and go to family Court. Just a thought.
This lil girl needs to need where she belongs with a real mother and that's jenn. The more you rip this poor little girl out of caring homes and away from people she loves. She's going to be broken. I'm only speaking from experience
Jenn is a wonderful woman who works hard and is a compassionate and caring woman whose family is always priority one. This little girl could not have a better mommy then jenn. Leave her with her forever mom. Family isn't always blood.
Don’t let this happen to the girl again. Leave her where she belongs. Being a mom is not a right it’s a privilege. This girl has a mom wether it be blood or not.
Please let this truly be about the child's best interests now that she has an established, safe, stable family.

Little Ms. K entered our lives with such an open and loving heart❤️ . The first time I met her she ran over to me yelling Grandma D, Grandma D as soon as she got to me she wrapped her arms around my legs and would not let go, at that very moment I knew this little girl had found her family
