Christians are not a valued part of this country either. It is a Christian"s lot to be persecuted therefore we need to support each other as much as possible.

I trust the reports about the reason this family had to flee Pakistan. I cannot understand why the Home Office have obviously not examined the case properly.

Signed by an atheist who is aware that he would be condemned to death were he to say so in Pakistan.

The Baksh family are fine, honest people, tragically at risk should they return to Pakistan. Please, Prime Minister, let them stay.

I have heard first-hand that the blasphemy law as operated in Pakistan leads to many Christians being persecuted and in danger of death.

In the wake that the lives of Maqsood Baksh and his wife are threatened in Pakistan, may I please ask the Home Office to grant them asylum, so that they will lead a normal life.

This is yet another appalling decision by the Home Office, no doubt motivated by the evils of 'political correctness'. I am appalled that we have become so callous regarding Christian persecution in such countries. The civil service personnel are, in reality, a pile of garbage in their approach, lacking any kind of compassion and humanity. When will these idiots recognize that Islam is a satanic religion of death?

The evidence is clear that this family face a real threat if they are not granted asylum.

The christians desperately need asylum from persecution and their lives are in constant danger. I hope the UK Home Office will give them permanent refuge.

Please give Baksh family asylum as their lives are most definitely in danger if they are sent back to Pakistan.

In Canada, we have an organization called "Voice of the Martyrs" which documents incidents in other Muslim-majority countries like Egypt and Iraq where severe persecution is also present.

Pakistani christians are suffering due to their faith by extremists

Offring asylum to these good people, who are facing genuine threats to their safety, even their lives, is EXACTLY the kind of decision the Home Office should be taking. There are way too many documented instances of extreme persecution of Christians in Pakistan for this to merely a situatiion of "discrimination".
