This property has a zoning notice to rezone from agricultural to an R-20. In Cherokee County R-20 zoning allows lots as small at 20,000 sq ft. (less than half an acre)

We would like to request that this property is denied the rezoning. The Hickory Flat area currently has several brand new neighborhoods under construction as well as lots still being built on, or available in, existing neighborhoods. Our current infrastructure cannot support what currently exists, and most certainly not what has been approved already. Please stop approving new neighborhoods until we can support what currently exists.

City counsel please do not allow the population to over grow what we have in place to support it. As it is the schools are over populated. The high school is now having to use the old middle school and the new middle school that just opened up a couple of years ago is already to small. Please make responsible dicision . Thank you.

96 new houses are being built near me on Hwy. 140, among many others in our area. From about 4-6 pm you are in bumper to bumper traffic, the last thing we need are more cars on the road!

Earney Road can NOT handle all the extra traffic. I just moved here because it was quiet and low traffic. That will change if you add all these new homes.

I am resident of Crabapple Falls. The lots being requested are as small as 7,500 square feet. Keep this agricultural.

This is the place where I grew up and I want to be able to recognize it 20 years from now. They're too many neighborhoods already going up that Earney Rd doesn't need any. There is no need to rezone!!

I live in the Hill Crest subdivision off of Earney road. This tiny road already has heavy traffic, huge trucks, and enough homes built off of it. Stop the development now!

Moved off Earney because it’s quiet , peaceful and little traffic. Adding hundreds of cars and homes removes the serinity of the area.
