The very 1st year this program started was my high school class. We loved it! It shaped me into becoming a teacher. I knew right then where I wanted my life to go. Many years later, the program came complete circle for me when I enrolled my son in the program. He is a boy of severe anxiety and this fabulous program gave him a great foundation in preparation for school. We still see him big buddies around town and will love that connection. One of my son's big buddies is even further her education working with children with disabilities. So I ask, " how can you take away a program that fosters individuals from choosing a career path?"
Big mistake if you do.

I think the teddy bear play school is a great program. Expecially now a days with so many young parents.

Why take some thing away when it's beneficial to every one involved. Only good things have come from the course. Not much more should need to be said.

I loved this class in high school! About 20 years ago! I went on to get my ECE diploma, and am a mother of 4 wonderful children.

I went to this program as a child, as did my two younger siblings. Would be sad to see it go.

All 3 of my kids participated in the program and then my daughter took the course in high school! It will be so sad that this would be cancelled!!!

I was relying on registering my daughter for this programme. She would otherwise not have the opportunity to be in a child care center and learn the skills and to prepare her for junior kindergarten in a group setting with other kids her age.

We were looking forward to registering our son in this program next year. I do hope that the UGDSB will consider all options before closing the program.
