Please do not cancel Teddy Bear Playschool at ODSS!

When my Teddy Bear graduate was having some days where he found it hard to go to kindergarten, we'd make a stop at ODSS first to pop in and say hi to happy, familiar faces and then he was good to continue on with his day, although he expressed several times through the year that he wished he was back there he loved it so much. My children's kindergarten teacher was a Teddy Bear Alumnus - this is what the program is all about!

I have had all four of my children in the Teddy bear program. This program was a life saver for me during a time when my husband was in university and we couldn't afford pre-school anywhere else. This program was so essential in helping my children with a seamless separation for kindergarten. I felt this program had so much to offer for both children and students. Please don't cancel such an important program for our community.

My daughter is currently enrolled in program and is learning and enjoying the program. A great leadership tool.

I attended ODSS and the looks on all the children's faces says enough

OD Can suck my left nut, all the little peoples are gonna lose it.

My son went there when he was little and loved his big buddies. Also my daughter was a big buddy and loved it so much she is going to school for ECE.

Would just be dumb for odss to cancel this program.. What little buddy doesn't love their big buddy, and what big buddy doesn't LOVE their little buddy!!

Students benefit from this program small and big.

Please do not cancel teddy bear playschool it's so amazing and fun!!! I love working with the kids!!!!!!

Do not cancel this course! Its such a good course for students and the children and was one of my favourite courses in highschool. Dont know why youre even questioning to cancel it!

This is probably one of the most amazing and most hands on program at ODSS. You will never get to experience this type of learning if this program is removed.

Went to Teddy as a child, and took it twice in high school. 100% my favourite class.

It's a vital and unique service for teen mothers in that area. Becoming a teen mom is hard enough but having a program in which you can finish your education and ensure your child is safe takes a little stress out of their lives.

This was my favourite class! I learned so much from the teacher and the children. I always had a hard time in school I wasn't the smartest because I didn't like to read or write I liked to learn more in a scoail, realistic, and practical way. This class teaches so much and allows people who don't learn by sitting in an English class writing a 3 page essay to have more options! You have shop classes, welding, wood working, etc. This was another great "real life" class, something to learn that I actually used in my future life!

my son went to this program and is now a WONDERFUL FATHER to 2 young boys, as well my daughter was in this program, it is a very needed program and it would be a shame to see it close.

An amazing program that connects teens to young kids. Best course I took at ODSS. Not only gives high school students an opportunity to have an impact on a toddlers first learning opportunity but also encourages high school students to become a mature, role model for their little buddies.

As a RECE and a former student at ODSS who was very involved in the Teddy Bear program, I believe that it should continue. The children love their big buddies. They are able to develop relationships that they can't form in a normal centre with other Children or their teachers.

Without this program, I wouldn't know half the things I do today about children. This program was my favourite to attend in school, the class is spectacular for not only the children but the students. I wouldn't know what I would want to be today if it wasn't for this program!

Took this class in grade 12, would be a shame to see it gone.
