The International Paralympic Committee is limiting soccer to only certain disabilities. The team limits participation to male athletes with cerebral palsy/brain injury/strokes. I have Spina Bifida and have played competitive soccer all my life. Because the disability has worsened over the years, I am no longer able to compete with people who do not have limitations. All I am asking for is the International Paralympic Committee to reconsider this and add spina bifida to the qualifications. The Paralympic Committee should reconsider due to the mass number of people with spina bifida, and the similarities in this disability, and others accepted by the committee as a qualifying disease. We, the undersigned, support the addition of spina bifida to the qualifications of soccer in the Paralympics.

My son loves soccer and works so hard. Its not fair he has to quit because of a outdated rule list.

Ridiculous that they exclude so many players. My brother has spina bifida and he has more heart than half the people playing pro ball right now. Let them play

THE IPC NEEDS TO WAKE UP. SO MANY ATHLETES ARE BEING LEFT OUT FOR NO GOOD REASON.

why single out specific conditions when people with spina bifida can clearly keep up. so tired of the exclusionary rules

Keep pushing for this. Sports are for everyone and this gap in the rules makes zero sense.
