The Playmofan.nl website provided an invaluable service to Playmobil Customers, allowing them to download building plans to put together Playmobil sets.
This petition is to ask Geobra Brandstatter - makers of Playmobil - to reconsider their decision to force the closure of this website.
It is normal nowadays for companies to freely make available instruction manuals on the internet, either directly or through another party. Other German companies like BMW and Mercedes-Benz do, as do other toy manufacturers, like Lego.
Geobra Brandstatter are doing a great diservice to the many parents who have lost instructions or who bought sets on the second hand market - and who go on to buy new Playmobil sets.
Please sign this petition if you think Geobra Brandstatter should reconsider their decision.

The number of people documenting their frustration regarding missing instruction manuals confirms that this is a widespread concern. I am currently preparing a formal letter to Geobra Brandstatter to present these collective findings.

The surge in interest for the restoration of this resource demonstrates how many collectors rely on these manuals for their sets. This collective momentum confirms that preserving access to historical building plans is a reasonable expectation for a company of this stature.

I am very sad to learn that this website is closed by now. It was really useful and formed a club of Playmobil Friends.
What a pity !
I clearly do not understand the policy of Geobra. Perhaps we do not live in the same time.
Please bring back such a useful website.

My kids have so many sets with missing pages and this was the only way to get them working again. Very disappointed.

SO ANNOYING. Just let us have the instructions. It is not like they are losing money over pdf files.

Völlig unverständlich. Alle anderen Firmen zeigen wie es geht. Playmobil sollte endlich mal im 21 Jahrhundert ankommen.

Ridiculous decision. Why block people from fixing the toys they already paid for? Bring it back now.

This site saved me so many times when buying used stuff at yard sales. Geobra should be helping us out instead of making it harder.
