it would be nice to have a playground for the children and also to keep them not staying at home always,to interact with more friends and to be close to the nature.
need to have a most safety playground that is not near to any major road or roadside,fencing is required and also CCTV for anti social behavior or major crime.

For a town with a huge young population & the biggest school in the whole country, it's madness there is no playground around. Make it happen fellas.

Hi folks it has been agreed at council level that a play space in Knocklyon is well over due & is supported by all the councillors. The only challenge will be where to locate so if people could also proffer their choice of location. KN are to be commended for highlighting this issue.

I welcome the consultation that is currently underway in South Dublin County Council on the issue of smaller playgrounds & I know they have said that the views of all stakeholders in the community will be considered when deciding the best location in the Knocklyon area (hopefully) to construct the playground.

With so many children in the Knocklyon area, a playground is badly needed. There's a great community spirit in this area as regards looking after the thousands of children through our sports clubs, activity groups & green spaces - a playground would really enhance that.

We moved to Knocklyon a couple of years ago and love it! It's a great community and a brilliant place to bring up children, but a playground would really be the icing on the cake.

Knocklyon is such a wonderful place to grow up, and we're lucky to have so many kids around.The more they get to swing on swings, slide on slides and enjoy their childhoods, the better life will be for everyone.
