Plandome Residents against "Major Development" planned for the Thomson Estate property

The Roads and schools in town are already to crowded.We need to keep the feel of the neighborhood. Which means leaving some larger properties alone

"Extremely opposed " to this Over-Development. Choose another Town

Fully support everything stated in the letters sent to the planning board. Hopefully the board will approach this as residents of our wonderful village and not as businessman. No developer should have the right to devalue our properties and alter the quality of life in Plandome.

There is already enough traffic on Plandome Rd; we don't need any more.

Do not mess up the beauty of the area. It is unnecessary to crowd the place. We do not need so many the village office staff you can cut expenses and get less taxes

Our family loves the green woodsy surroundings of Stoneytown Rd and Plandome Village. Sadly it has been developed over the last 10 yrs, and the congestion is very apparent on the roads, and schools are already over burdened with large classes and tax increases. Further development of our beautiful Plandome, will degrade my investment our Village ,and by those who just want to make money off the current surroundings. Keep Plandome verdant and lovely, it is a unique and lovely jewel in the Town of Manhasset and North Hempstead!

We moved here a year ago to escape a neighborhood that was destroyed by over development. This is such a wonderful neighborhood, why ruin it? Does this " Mr O'Sullivan" live here? Do our schools have enough space to afford more students?

Not to mention that Shelter Rock, and the Secondary schools are already overcrowded. We don't need more homes!

Along with all the problems mentioned, the soil in this area is very sandy and the rain runoff from the Thompson property, which is uphill from Shore Drive can be substantial at times and will be much worse with a major development.

In addition with this development the water run off from the Thompson property could be a major problem on Plandome Rd. and Shore Drive,

As a preservationist, I am so disappointed that such a drastic change to the landscape of Plandome is even being allowed to happen. It goes against the history of the area and undermines the original design of the development. Do not want.

It is very important to continue to maintain character of the incorporated villages of Manhasset and to not allow massive building projects.

This development is s very bad idea! I live in plandome and pay over $20,000 a year in taxes my voice should be heard!!!!!

Don't let the project happen.

I am opposed to the development of the property as proposed. We just moved to 2 Willets Ln. One of the reasons we chose Willets Ln location is that the street seems quiet, peaceful, and safe especially for our children. This proposed development will change all this and is everything we do not want, especially resulting to an increase in road traffic which will danger our children. Rachel Kim

This development would sully the atmosphere and character of the neighborhood. Taking advantage of the beautiful neighborhood for one outside person's own financial interests-- to the detriment of the residents-- is against everything we believe in as a community.

Allowing this development to go ahead would be a travesty for this beautiful and proud community. Plandome is one of the special places on Long Island that should not be turned into a condo type bedroom community. As a native of the North Shore, please reject this attempt at overbuilding the area and over running the resident's rights to maintain their oasis.

The proposed development is a rapacious development, with no redeeming value to the community. How is it possible to propose this develoment when Mr O'Sullivan is not the actual property owner or a resident of the community? Permission for this project should be strenuously denied.

This development would be very bad for all the current residents of Plandome and a disaster for the residents of Willets Lane and Shore Drive!
