It is shameful to put even one animal down. Do better!

This is an excellent plan and I hope Culpeper County Animal Shelter will pursue these goals.

It's a shame that it's taking a petition to adopt these very basic, common sense procedures

Major improvements are needed at this shelter!!! This euthanasia rate is unacceptable and cat room at shelter needs improvement.

Culpeper Animal shelter needs to improve their practices across the board. From management and customer services practices to intake and processing procedures, as well as animal care and new home placement. Also animal control in the community is in need of restructuring and higher standards of practice implemented. I am broken hearted seeing the increase in euthanasized animals in our community. So very sad.

The people running the shelter need to be fired & the ones working there who say nothing about the killing of precious animals. This is absolutely horrific!!!!

I have feral cats and domestic cats I would be heartbroken and my kids if I couldn't find them if the shelter didn't post so I would never know as I don't have a vehicle to make it all the way to 29 so posting would make it much easier for me to figure out if something did happen

Bea made such a difference at the shelter. She proved to you that you CAN be no kill and she proved to you that your workers are capable of doing better! Bring Loretta in as shelter manager. Everything has went to hell such she left.

The euthanasia rate here is astonishing - I hope that staff gets new training or is replaced. I have recently sent an inquiry to the shelter manager asking about a particular dog and never even received a response.
