100% agree! The Culpeper County Animal Shelter management and staff need to replaced immediately. The euthanasia numbers are totally unacceptable and can be significantly reduced with properly trained personnel and volunteers. Additionally, this shelter needs to fall under the purview of the Culpeper County Sheriffs Department (not the Board of Supervisors).

I agree wholeheartedly that more needs to be done to help increase adoptions, reunions with owners, and hopefully, ultimately eliminating the need for euthanasia! Promotion of low cost spay/neuter options should also be included in the online information too.

These requests are well with attainable parameters. The shelter and county representatives should have no qualms adhering to such. This is the bare minimum that should be expected of any animal shelter in the country.
