Middleton needs to show more respect for the quality of life of long term residents, not shove them aside in favor of developers, whose goal is to make money for themselves.

I am strongly opposed to this development. I hope the city council listens to the will of the neighborhood and stops the development as it is now formulated.

The concerns of the constituents need to be heard. These large structures do do affect the quality of life for all residents and the future of our great City. Please consider the impacts on the community. Life as we know it in the Good Neighbor City needs to be nutured and cared for or it will no longer exist...

Better road management in older neighborhood

I agree with the development and improvement of the proposed lots, but the apartment building will be disruptive aesthetically and functionally to the surrounding neighborhood. Let's see alternate designs.

This is too large of a complex in this location and should not be built

University Avenue is busy enough. Children have to cross University to get to the high school, library, pool, Kromrey, downtown, and more. To plan a development that would increase traffic at such a rate is short sighted and unfair to the people of this city.

We already have traffic issues, cars traveling thru neighborhoods at high speed. The city is unwilling and inflexible at relieving any of these issues. This development will only create additional issues for the adjacent neighborhoods. University avenue is already a bottleneck at this part of middleton. This development is not a good idea.

This proposed development woven around two single family homes on University Avenue and what a appears to be a one story two car car garage, cannot in any way, pretend to advance the notion of 39’+ height goal of Middleton planning department along the Avenue. Unless and until it can can be presented as a more cohesive solution, I object

This development is contrary to everything else in the neighborhood.

The development of a project of this size is incongruent with the neighborhood and I oppose it. Traffic is already heavy in the area and the plan does not include sufficient parking for so many units. Please listen and respond more effectively to the concerns of area residents. Thank you.

The 4 story building seems to tall for this area. Also, sounds that very few of the 39 units would be eligible for workforce housing. Middleton needs more afforable housing/ apts. not just a few more.

This big of a building at this location is totally out of place. Put it somewhere in the Greenway Blvd area where it would fit in much better. As also pointed out, I don't want to see all the traffic from this building going past my house. There are kids in this neighborhood. I hope the City Council won't let the money talk.

Please keep Middleton the hometown that it is. The new development is nice, but not here. We are not a big city that needs an apartment complex on every corner. We are the family community that enjoys the atmosphere we already have. No need for change.

I concur this is too large for that area. There are areas closer to the beltline that are better suited for taller/denser affordable housing

Too congested. Let's preserve our community identity; Let's avoid becoming “Anyplace USA”.

I agree with everything previously noted about this development. The intersection of University Ave and Park Street is already congested during school morning drop off and in the afternoon rush hour. Also the size of the development is totally inappropriate for the surrounding neighborhood. The Common Council needs to use common sense on this issue.

I do not agree with a building this size on University Avenue which has buildings of a maximum 2 story height. I believe it would look out of place and would only add problems to an already traffic-congested area.
