Please dso not grant planning until Hadleigh received the infrastructure to come with the increase in population. We would need more doctors, dentists, vets, another primary and secondary school. The Police station should be manned again and we also need to consider how much more traffic the A1071 can take and contigencies for bottlenecks.

Before any more development we really require more infrastructure in place, or at least planned. The High school will struggle-as it has done in high birth rate years. The doctors surgery is under pressure even now.

More housing is needed for local people so they should have priority over the dwellings being built.
Keep communities together rather than splitting them up. The town amenities can not cope with the amount of people in the town now and certainly won’t with another 250houses

The local services and infrastructure should be a upgraded, and expanded to cover the needs of the town, the existing services and infrastructure are already under pressure, and this needs to be addressed, and not with empty promises, before any further building of houses is approved.

Hadleigh cannot sustain the number of potential residents and traffic arising from a development of this size. Also on ice countryside is built on, it's gone forever leaving our children and future generations less green space to enjoy.

I moved back to Hadleigh after being away for 6 years, how it has changed, not necessary for the best..We need to look at infrastructure for now and the future if we provide family housing please please look forward as there will be problems encountered with all the amenities and Car parking. How can we build 3-4 bed roomed homes with one parking space. Many people currently park on roads as they have not got adequate parking. This is proving a major annoyance when exiting or entering ones own drive. We need good access direct to the A12 as Benton Street is not coping with the current traffic, using the A1071 isn't the answer with the current building at the Holiday Inn junction. It isn't just in Hadleigh it is a nationwide problem. Build houses with adequate infrastructure prior to getting the permissions.

It's just common sense. We need to acknowledge the need for more housing, but it needs to be done in a sensible way, not just for the benefit of the existing residents, but also for the benefit of the new residents that will take up these places. They don't want to be moving to a beautiful town if they can't get a space for their children, or get an appointment to see a GP.

Our infrastructure e.g. road network is inadequate and simply will not cope with increased traffic caused by significant large developments. Until the infrastructure is improved no new large housing developments should be allowed.

All that is needed is Strategic thinking, an implementation plan and a willingness for those key constituency representatives in positions of influence to cooperate with each other to deliver a plan. It starts with a Neighbourhood Plan.
