I’ve also noticed too that drivers will stop several feet before the stop sign baseline thinking it gives them the right of way.

Time to be proactive rather than reactive. Very busy intersection. Needs a crosswalk attendant

It’s not a safe place to cross in the morning. Cars just don’t stop at the 4 way!

Foxworthy & New Jersey is a dangerous intersection to cross. I’ve nearly been hit while crossing this intersection, after dropping my son off at Fammatre. I live on Foxworthy, just a few houses from that intersection and I see how people drive on Foxworthy every day. They race from the stop sign on Foxworthy to the traffic light at Leigh. I’ve almost been rear ended while pulling into my driveway by one such person.
Please consider all of the proposals for this intersection, such as a crossing guard, reduced speed limit (to 25mph), speed monitor, and even speed bumps near the intersection. It’s only a matter of time before another child gets seriously injured or killed at New Jersey & Foxworthy unless something is done.

Foxworthy Ave is the "ramp" for traffic to bypass Camden Ave and still have access to the freeway via Union or Bascom.... The street is very dangerous and not designed to support school crossings by children, etc.

I know budgets are tight, but having a crossing guard at this very busy and hard-to-navigate intersection could really help prevent kids and parents from being hurt. Thanks.

I’ve witnessed numerous near misses along New Jersey at Geneva, Potrero, Rustic and Foxworthy. Please assess these intersectuons.

This intersection really needs a light, but crossing guards posted there will help a lot. It's scary how careless people drive.

I agree. This intersection is dangerous. The drivers are in too much of a hurry to be safe.

More needs to be done to slow down cars on both Foxworthy and New Jersey

We have them at all the street light intersections, but this one is probably the most necessary as it is only a stop sign and people roll right on through!

As a parent, I have been walking across this street for a few years with my kid. I can clearly feel that the safety situation is getting worse over time. A serious action is needed to make sure such accident never happen again on our kids.
