Not thinking of students. How are students supposed to manage childcare, working, uni work and placement with these type of shifts. We pay for this course, we should be allowed as student nurses to have a say in what’s best for us. No wonder so many student nurses suffer from mental health issues. You forget we work many long exhausting hours for free!!!!

This is awful for students, travel is hard enough not just the fees but timings as well. Well-being & a balanced work life is more important!

Please reconsider and consult with the students as it would be beneficial to all concerned to have consultations. It will lead to resentment otherwise and not conducive to their wellbeing many thanks.

From being a student nurse myself I know exactly how hard it is both mentally and physically. Couldn’t agree more that things need to change for our future student nurses.

My house mates are dedicated student nurses that work harder than anyone I know! More consideration should be given to these hours- Brisbane, Australia

With the nursing workforce already in decline, why make it even more difficult. New student nurses are going to start applying to other uni's over LJMU because of this issue!

How are student nurses supposed to survive without being able to undertake a part time job now that the bursary has been removed? The student loans for many students does not even cover accommodation costs, there is supposed to be a shortage of nurses so where is the encouragement?!

The hours suggested are ridiculous, as it will stretch student who are already stretched with their time and also financially with more travel involved. You took away the nursing bursery, forcing students to take on part time jobs just to survive, making this change in their hours is going to effect them financially. NOT GOOD!
So unfair on nuring students
What a disgrace!
