Pittwater Conservation Zones need to Stay

This is vitally important to keep Pittwater it’s peaceful self. We love living here for that reason.

No discussion on land values and therefor Rates ???

Thin end of a wedge for ongoing development. Protect all conservation sites previously nominated by the once Pittwater Council

No rezoning

We live in a unique area of biodiversity and significant Threatened Ecological Communities that need to be protected and links between corridors maintained into the future. The ongoing clearance of bushland and mature trees on residential properties is already changing the character of the local area.

This is a disgrace :(

Pittwater is fortunate to have areas that haven’t yet been over developed, maintaining some native flora and fauna. The loss of habitat in further developing this area, and the additional infrastructure required to support that, will be a permanent adverse impact on the area.

Rezoning C4 zoned land to R2 demonstrates that development and economic interests trumps any concern for environmental protection. The full implications of the proposed changes has clearly been missed by those making the decisions

Please do not spoil our beautiful environment with over crowding by covering the land with endless housing. Our environment is our Inheritance to all generations.

Conservation zones need to remain for native fauna, flora and the peaceful pleasure of people who enjoy more than money and urban sprawl.

This proposal will destroy the Northern Beaches wildlife, forests and natural beauties that welcome so many Sydney siders every summer.

This proposed extensive development is not appropriate. We value our open spaces and the area does not have the infrastructure to support more housing

Save the greenery for future generations, we can't get it back once it has gone!

There has been next to no consultation with the majority of residents on the effects of such a large development rezoning that is opaque at best.

We don't need more houses nor high rises e.g no more Dee Why suburbs in the Northern Beaches. Keep our trees, protect our wild life and the unique environment we appreciate. The way of living we enjoy and most importantly green space needs to be preserved -that's why we choose to live here! I say NO to being able to divide up blocks of land for more housing. We are all worried about saving our trees and conserving the environment ? This doesn't make sense to me!

Money can't be our only motivator as a society, for if it is, then we are no longer fit to call ourselves a society. Stop over developing crucial areas.

Against this plan - Do not destroy our environment even more

Council must start to listen to residents concerns and stop over-development of Mona Vale. Mona Vale is a beautiful village suburb and must remain so. We don’t want to become like Dee Why.

Do not allow over development. We do not have the infrastructure to cope with it.

This will lead to over development. We must protect our environment from being destroyed.
