The encroachment on green space in the Pittwater region proceeds apace, with ever more density. These Conservation zones are essential for the preservation of wildlife and flora need to be increased, not diminished

The worst part of this disastrous rezoning initiative is it won't even enable the development of affordable housing. On the contrary, it offers the best coastal locations to developers that will build lucrative accommodations for the richer as secondary residence or for short term holiday renting, Airbnb, etc. Affordable housing needs to be built around Transport hubs, precincts, close to where jobs and Unis are, certainly not 35km from Sydney CBD. The targeted have a larger wildlife population than humans. These new high density visions a la Frenchs Forest, Chatswood, Dee Why high density will destroy the Northern Beaches for ever.

Another proposal to destroy Pittwater by stealth. Please stand up to the NSW Government's pressure for more greater urban density in this fragile area and their acquiescence to the interest of developers.

When Pittwater council was forcefully amalgamated into one large NBC it was clear that this will lead to less environmental conservation and higher density. Here we go.

Pittwater’s natural landscape must be protected. Overdevelopment will destroy the environment we have all fought so hard to protect, Present infrastructure does not support over development.

Keep the conservation zones. Do not open up land for residential zoning, it's not suitable, will affect tourism, and we don't have the infrastructure, particularly when we just lost the Wakehurst Parkway funding, the the bends are backed up every single day.

Fully agree with the four points for NBC to consider and implement. Incrementally destroying the environment will lead to a total breakdown of the natural resources we depend on (clean air, water, pollinators etc etc).

Instead of rezoning (anti -environment how about improving local infrastructure eg. a footpath in Wollstonecraft Ave which it has been lacking for at least 42 years of my living here.
