The peninsula is one of the most environmentally sensitive areas in Sydney -C4 Environmental Zoning needs to be maintained for the current zonings to make sure the area is not overdeveloped.

Council - please take more care with the reclassifications. The draft plan reveals residential zoning for parts of Bungan Beach - one of the most eco-sensitive areas on the Northern Beaches.

This is a precursor to the new LEP that, with its proposed development zones around Avalon, Newport and Mona Vale will leave Pittwater wide open for rampant development. We must fight against this.

Retain habitat for wildlife and cease unnecessary land clearing tree removal and over development.

As a vet nurse I see the impact of encroachment on our native wildlife first hand. We need to protect all our conservation areas and halt rezoning of critical habitat.

We don’t need or want changes to our local planning laws especially if it means more destruction of our unique local natural environment.

Conservation zones in Pittwater need to be expanded, not shrunk down to almost nothing, as this rezoning proposal will do. It's outrageous that council would propose this, given the looming climate crisis, impending local flora & fauna extinctions & severe overdevelopment already happening on the Northern Beaches.

This is outrageous, I do not want our area to be rezoned. The natural flora and fauna should not be changed.

Protecting our environment and wildlife should be our priority. This is what is distinctive about our area.

Pittwater should be declared an "area of outstanding natural beauty " with specific powers to prevent inappropriate development
