I do not want this facility being built this close to my home. I have raised dogs all my life but this type of facility does not belong in a residential area.

I don't feel comfortable having such a large facility dedicated to rehabilitation of Pitbulls so close to home. A lot of children live and play in Silver Oak, if signing this petition could potentially stop someone from getting hurt by the potential of an escaped animal, I will do my part.

I've been to court 2 times in the year 2014 due to pit bulls killing and mauling my horses and livestock I have had problems with pit bull since 1989 when one jumped in my car window and mauled my dog in my lap and in my leg I'm very well-versed on pitbulls and what they're about and I would definitely be opposed 2 a 30000 square foot facility to house pitbulls you have no idea how workers at shelters get mauled by pit bulls neighbors innocent people just everyday people even owners of pitbulls getting mauled and killed by their own dogs everyday look it up

You never know what might happen when dealing with animals. It's just not worth the life of a child or a loved one. I would have to rule against it it's just not safe

This has been and hopefully will continue being a residential area in Paulding County. This is a bad location for this type of rescue, the safety of the residence , children, their property and peace of mind will be at great risk . Please rescue in advance the area residence from this Pit Bill Rescue group.

Is there not an ordinance against
"disturbance of the peace.?" Uncontrollable barking is definitely "emotional harassment."

I was raised in Paulding, family is there, DO NOT allow this. I am also an advocate for the victims of dangerous dogs aka pit bulls. Allowing this type of facility puts your public, my friends and family, in jeopardy. Any other animals around are also in jeopardy. Pits are mauling and killing like no other breed in history. Don't be foolish and offer them dinner in Paulding.

Please don't cave to the hoarding mentality. It's not fair to the animals that are being warehoused. People do not want these dogs for good reasons. Pit bulls are the number one canine killer of people, children, pets and livestock of all dog breeds combined. Please follow for one month. You will be shocked at all the people and pets that are severely maimed or killed by pit bulls.

A rescue of that magnitude doesn't belong in a residential area. The minute that opens the existing neighbors housing values will plummet as a former commercial dog kennel owner I know this should valid concern for residents. Would you buy one if their houses. No - noise alone is a huge concern and should be. I'm sure there is more suitable locations already zoned as he needs it.

A total horror story. My pit bull attack was on May 30, 2013 with full 911 response. I understand and agree with all petition points. Disruption of this bucolic living scene to collect and distribute pit bulls, a proven public safety hazard, is a nightmare.
