We, the devoted fans of Veronica Mars, have been shocked and outraged at the current rumors of changes made to our favorite show. We are sadden by every aspect of these changes, but most importantly the murder of one of our most beloved character. In an effort to save Logan Echols, we are willing to redeem all of our Pirate Points to save his life. We are giving up our ordering in priviledges to be able to see Logan at Neptune High, alive and well. Other than Veronica, no other character has captured our hearts like Logan. Other than Veronica, no other character has shown the growth and depth that Logan has. We adore him and critics respect him and the actor that portrays him. Yee-Fan Sun of DigsMagazine.com was quoted as writing: It\'s the rare show that can make a character do something that really, genuinely surprises you -- and have you believe wholeheartedly that the character\'s actions make complete sense. Nowhere is this aspect of the show\'s considerable charms more evident than in the character of Logan Echolls [the excellent Jason Dohring], Lilly\'s volatile ex-boyfriend and Veronica\'s nemesis, who starts off seeming like your stereotypical cocky mean rich kid and gradually becomes one of the most fascinating, unsettlingly appealing characters on the show. And TV Gal thinks that Jason Dohring\'s portrayal of Logan is Emmy-worthy. We do not pretend that we can tell the writers, producers, and especially, Rob Thomas, how to write the show or what direction the show should go in. We do feel that we would be wronged and robbed if this travesty was to be made. The writers and Jason Dohring has invested a great amount of time and effort to make this character loved by many. We have come to know him, cried with him, and laughed with him. Losing him would be like losing a best friend. Click on the link to the right of the screen to see the Pirate Point.
