We, the undersigned, are completely opposed to the firing of actors Brett Claywell and Scott Evans, who have played the characters Kyle Lewis and Oliver Fish with honesty and integrity from the show One Life to Live.  We feel that this is a tremendous affront to the fans, the Gay and Lesbian Community, and makes a mockery of ABC's Diversity Program.  It is also an affront to Agnes Nixon, the creator of One Life to Live.

One of the male lead characters on One Life to Live is an irredeemable rapist, who is recycled in storyline after storyline after storyline, year after year, yet an openly gay couple is erased from the canvas only after a few months.  We also dispute the notion that their storyline was responsible for the decline in ratings, since they were on so seldom.  We respectfully demand that they be returned to the show, and that a long-term vision for their characters be realized.  To lose these tremendous actors is not only detrimental to the show, but a true loss to Daytime TV as a whole.   We ask that you be courageous, have vision, step up, and SAVE KiSH.
