Keep the beauty and charm of Pioneer Town! If you take that away, you lose a cultural landmark

This would not be an improvement but only deteriorate the integrity of a historical sight.

Don’t fence me in with developers and over commercialization of our beloved Pioneer Town Main Street

Pioneer town is provably my favorite place in Southern California, I am a frequent visitor and hope to live there one day. As an urban planner by education I am keenly aware of the importance of this overlay zone and I explore the County board of supervisors and Planning Commission to adopt this proposal.

Please keep Pioneertown rustic and disallow chains and big box stores. It's a respite from urban manufactured reality for many people. Paving and overdevelopment will destroy its flavor that draws the public here.

Pioneertown needs to be preserved. We don’t need the entire high desert to be commercialized and look like everywhere else in the U.S… it’s a special place and should stay that way.

Leave Pioneertown alone, no more pavement, no over- commercialization!
