Someone I used to work with wanted to buy the corral and turn it into low income housing. I can't believe someone would do that to such a historical site.

I first came to Pioneertown in 1995. It was quaint and quiet and there were no businesses except for Pappy's and the Pioneertown Bowl. It was as peaceful as could be. It has already changed more than I would like and I certainly don't want to see total commercialization of Mane St. There is NO PLACE for chain stores or mass development in Pioneertown! Do not ruin this historic place!

Pioneertown is perfectly fine as it is. Perhaps we could leave a small piece of the desert out of the ugly commercialization of the HiDesert?

It's an amazing little town. Full of life, color, and that ancient flavor of good humanity, so much in need nowadays. Please! Keep it as it is

Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley and pioneer town have already suffered though a massive housing crisis, water conservation concerns and an overwhelming invasion of corporate investors taking over mom and pop style shops and restaurants… we need to keep at least one area, Pioneer Town, true to the rick history of the desert.
Added development in that are will increase fire risks; affect local wildlife and environment. The area is subject to drastic wildfires and drought, zone laws would destroy this delicate area and none of us would like to see that.
