We must align as a community and a county to preserve the sacred monuments that make San Bernardino special. I moved to LA in 2006 and Pioneertown landed in my lap as a place to enjoy the wild desert and old Hollywood history. My family and I now live in Yucca Valley and our friends and family want to preserve the magic that is Pioneertown. Business is good for the community as I am also an operating partner on the Red Dog Saloon, but let’s please not change the actual physical infrastructure of Mane Street. It must be protected! Thank you.

The need to preserve Pioneertown is huge. We all live here due to the charm and character present, to see if developed and the history lost would be devastating.

An overlay will help control out-of-scale and inappropriate development in Pioneertown.

Long live Pitown

We must do better to preserve unique and historic places. These landmarks and beacons of weird history are essential to a colorful fabric. Let’s not ruin another key piece of CA history.

Keep Pioneertown historic and rural! Gene Autry wouldn't want to see a dollar store or paved roads!

People come to Pioneertown because of the way it is now, not the way it could be with a ton of development. It's a unique place which has grown more or less at its own pace-development will make it just like everywhere else. Not everywhere needs to be developed because of the need for profit and not every piece of land needs to be owned-please consider leaving a few places in the high desert untouched by the heavy hands of commerce. Your children and children's children will thank you.

There are some shady players trying to take over this tiny and caring community. It would be such an incredible disservice to our county's history to allow it to be turned into a techno club. We NEED these common-sense rules to keep the pillagers from ruining it for the villagers.
