High Noon for Pioneertown's Future: Tell San Bernardino County to Adopt the Pioneertown Mane Street Historic Overlay

Save Pioneertown from this unneeded zoning & development. Keep it as it is!

There’s so much land surrounding Pioneer Town. There’s no excuse using that property for development.

It's very important that growth is planned with the community and the environment in mind!

I hate to see history being destroyed and to grow more then we need to.

My family loves Pioneer Town Please don’t let it be ruined.

We LOVE Pioneertown and Pappy & Harriet’s!! We’re from Florida and have visited many times. The roads and mountains leading up to the town is an adventure for us! We always stop to have dinner at Pappy’s and shop at the local stores. The town is very unique and would love for it to remain as is. It’s an absolute treasure and will definitely be making more continuous visits in the future.

Please help keep the history and looks of Pioneertown alive!! Too many places seem to value growth and money rather than an established historic area. Please, help keep what IS, Pioneertown, instead of what COULD be, commercial blight.

In Pioneertown, and throughout the unincorporated areas of the Morongo Basin, I advocate for County codes that govern land use that is aligned with local community interests, specifically encouraging re-use and preservation of historic structures and ensuring that growth occurs in a way that preserves community character and in a way that is compatible with the surrounding rural and residential landscape.

We don't need new Hollywood in the desert destroying everything to make apocalyptic movies and start abducting our children.

For the Mane Street Historic Overlayin

Historical sights like Pioneer Town need to be preserved, our children and grandchildren need to be able to see how our ancestors lived. Places like Pioneer Town give them a real life example of what it took to form our Country what life was really like in the past. It puts flesh and blood on the words from their textbooks. Please do not destroy this educational location.

Historically preseve this treasure

Pappy and Harriet’s is the main destroyer of Pioneertown. It’s over crowded and pushes so much traffic up our small roads and doesn’t pay to repair our main paved road that they bring thousands of people every month on. Don’t let them fool you they only want to keep their unsafe building that violates building codes open.

Yes! I support this new overlay zone and don’t want to see the character of Pioneertown destroyed with big commercial interests and chains.

Yucca Valley's growing population needs Pioneer town like Arizona needs Bisbee or Jerome. It is special and folks there love it, I do too.

There is simply no place like Pioneertown Mane Street. The County must act to protect it.

This is an iconic place and deserves to remain in an untouched area. Bringing in developers to this area will ruin what it is today and what it has been known for, music in the desert under the beautiful night sky. There is a sense of solitude even when music is going on.
