The untruths and misrepresentation of Ms. Vegter is damaging on a heart level. We must be able to trust those producing food to be honest for our health, and humane.

Uproot Meats must be stopped. They have repeatedly damaged neighbors' property, polluted the TID, and are a threat to the community.

I live in Washington state so am not personally affected by Uproot's activities, but having learned of the situation from an Ashland friend, I share the outrage of local residents, as well as sadness for the animals, and am more than happy to sign the petition.

This is an operation with (at best), a consistent track record of environmental pollution in an environmentally sensitive location, and willful frequent violations of building rules, codes, and permits.

As a former farmer in Ky (cattle, hogs) and later a staffer at USDA, I know bad practices that endanger communities and the environment. Shut down this operation.

Please hold them accountable!
