With all the recruiting that is happening among Catholic/Private Schools for athletic reasons, we are petitioning the governing body (PIAA) to establish a separate championship for such schools. New Jersey has a similar policy that works just fine. When private schools recruit for athletic reasons, they automatically create an unfair advantage over the Public schools. Recruiting has no boundaries which allows these schools to cherry pick their athletes from a vast area. If not a separate championship, at least force all private schools to compete at the highest class available for that specific sport. Considering that they do not have boundary lines to abide by, their enrollment should automatically be at the highest level in the state.

Nonboundary schools totally unfair advantage. The last time St Joes Prep won the state foot championship they had players from 3 different states. Last year PCC had 9 division 1 players that helped win the state football championship. Something is wrong and needs to be addressed
