Photo Radar Edmonton....we aren't cows stop the milking

Tickets for less the 5km is bull s**t,changing road speeds just to justify tickets come on

It's not ACTUALLY protecting people with photo radar. It's a money scam. If they where actually worried about protecting people, they would get police officers out there to do it more often. It's not protecting any body by getting a letter in the mail.!

Photo radar is only about getting money from drivers. I have yet to see a photo unit placed where speeding causes accidents. All locations photo radar locations (ones actually being used) are in places where there is never a trafic problem. I hate photo radar and those who man these vehicles. It's an immoral job that people should refuse to do.

Photoradar needs a major overhaul or to be removed entirely. It is unjust...

I believe in school and construction zones where people are working or where kids are playing for photo radar. Otherwise have those police officers do their jobs and not rely on technology to do it for them.

Money grab. Pure and simple. It's gotten way out of hand causes more of a distraction to drivers they are a safety hazard Ontop of bridges. And they want to " slow down " traffic yet they hide... shouldn't they be visible to slow people down? Some photo radar has decals on them saying slow down ect ect. .. how is hiding the van safer? It screams money grab!!!!! Get rid of it and use the 54 million on more real cops and cars and what ever else. Have police, police yhe roads not a dog catcher sleeping in a van.

It is totally a cash cow. They use it in the annual budget and yearly predict extra profits from increased enforcement. Nothing about how much 'safer' the city will be supported by facts. How can that be anything else BUT a cash cow?

Stop photo radar!

Photo radar in high pedestrian/children, construction zones I agree with. On hwy 2a in leduc is a cash cow and unacceptable.

Waste of time. Does not stop.speeding as driver notified two weeks after the fact. Even police think it's a cash cow.

This is a poor way of generating revenue, the speeders still get to speed as it is just cash out of their pockets, no demerits or consequences. This needs to change.

Also review our ridiculously low speed limits. How can a 90 year old driving a diesel pusher towing a car(or a B-train tractor truck)and a 30 year old driving a sports car have the same speed limits?

Photo radar is nothing but a cash cow

i go with the flow of traffic and still get a ticket. My 65 year mother follows all the rules of the road and she has gotten 3 photo radar tickets.

I wholeheartedly support this initiative to remove photo radar from the Edmonton area.

It's time for Change. Let's stand as 1 with law enforcement and join their efforts to make a safer community for everyone
