Photo Radar Edmonton....we aren't cows stop the milking

49 yrs of age no demerits i get atleast 300 a year in photo tickets in transition zones hate edmonton

I have NO respect for the people who operate such vehicles. You for 1. are killing the environment while you let your obese operators sit there and sleep/pick their nose, and play golf (yes I have see them do that on 51st ave and 122street) 2. Making drivers pay for traveling slightly over the limit in areas that have little to no traffic, and at times such at 2am when there is little to no cars on the road. 3. This program has not turned a viable profit in years so THINK DON, grow up and get your preppy but in gear.

We all know that these police officers are required desperately for services such as break and enter, rape, vandalizing people's vehicles in every parking lot while innocent people are shopping! They never seem to question new drivers who simply stop on a major road, (118 avenue at 2:15 pm, during high traffich, and caused me to hit the car in front of me! The police failed to even discuss any of the reasons why this new careless driver, who I might add couldn't speak English, but I was written up for a $420 citation fine to pay, as I was immediately coined as a careless driver! When I attempted to discuss why I was immediately handed this fine, as my front hit the steeringwheel so hard, it still amazes me why I didn't break my collarbone! All of these examples of the city sucking Edmontonian's dry it also violates our Canadian laws to which a person isin ocent until proven guilty! What a joke! What a collosal waste of the tax payer's money, and the irony is the police treat us like crap like they are above the law!!!

I dont understand what kind of work these guys are doing.. Sleeping while on the job and still get paid while doing it? Even worst is they are getting paid way more than most of us.

I can not afford to drive my car anymore due to these stupid radars. I drive the speed limit, I have to because I can't afford to lose money, but they always get my when I slip up and do maybe 10 over. I used to be a proud Edmontonian but now I wish this city would burn in hell. Such a disgusting system.

I personally think this is intrapment, and illegal in some states.It's bad enough it causes accidents and people get injuries from dumb drivers who slam on their breaks to avoid tickets why not raise speed limits or in force the same traffic rule bc did if you can't drive fast stay in left lane there would be less accidents if this was inforced I think personally

Stop paying people to sleep all day in vehicles that they leave running doing nothing to actually prevent speeding. Get rid of this terrible resource and hire more police to actually patrol.

This has to stop. It's not about making the road safer. It's about lining pockets.

Too many, and in too many sneaky spots. It's obvious that it's a cash grab at this point. It's only needed in high collision-high pedestrian areas.

I'm sick of government not trusting it's citizens to use their own discretion.
