I agree with this becoming a money grab, I was going 37km/h in a school zone and was given an 80$ ticket, this is BS if you ask me

Photo radar does nothing to educate the public as officials say it's supposed to. Just a money grab!

We are turning into a socity that hurts the average joe whos trying to get ahead i really dont see any inprovements on any roads or the city really alot of the city looks dumpy

Photo radar is dangerous!!! So many close calls have come from people slamming on their brakes when they realize the radar is there. It's also NEVER in places it SHOULD be! Radar shouldn't be on the highways, it should be in construction zones and school zones where lower speed is a must for safety..... Have I seen radar in these zones? NEVER!!!! This has to change!

Please stop it!!! I've had way too many close calls by people slamming on the brakes and almost causing an accident. Not to mention the locations they part are sometimes questionable... Stop photo radar. If you want to give me a ticket then do it the regular way. No hiding, just pull me over. Photo radar sucks!!!

I haven't had a single speeding ticket in ANY other city but I come "home" to visit Edmonton and end up with 3 photo radar tickets from the same area in west Edmonton. edmontons photo radar system is set up horribly and their "highway" speeds are dangerously slow. Everyone on the henday flys past eachother because the speed limit is set at snail speed coming in from the south at gateway blvd !

Down with photo radar. Funny how safety is the main concern here but you get the ticket weeks after the offence.

My family (4 drivers) receive on average 6 of these things a month. Its way out of hands. A few km over and bam, ticket. Slamming on my breaks every god damn light now

Instead of worrying about the safety through photo radar, how about worrying more about drunk drivers and have more check stops instead?
