Help get Phil Thompson on “The Talk” Phil Thompson is a Minnesota musician who is no stranger to charity work. Phil composed the benefit single for the I-35W bridge collapse – to help build awareness and raise funds for the American Red Cross. This holiday season he’s gathered some of Minnesota’s most talented musicians to record a Christmas album that benefits charities in the local community. The CD, Home for the Holidays: A Minnesota Christmas, features a roster of well-known Minnesota artists including G.B. Leighton, the Tim Mahoney Band, Mick Sterling, Cate Fierro and more. Phil also sings his own original recording, The Magic of Christmas Eve on the CD. Knowing that the true spirit of the holidays is all about giving back, the following petition was created to recognize all that Phil has done and help make an appeal to perform on the new CBS TV show, The Talk. To do this, we really need your help. In case you haven’t seen it, The Talk is a hot new CBS daytime talk show co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur. The petition is an appeal to producers and hosts of The Talk asking if Phil can perform his song this holiday season.
