Term Limits, limit spending on a campaign so all parties are on equal financial ground. No lobbying positions can be held for 5 years AFTER leaving office.
Time to get people in congress that want to do what is good for our country and not make it a career.
Absoulutely, term limits for congress persons...if it`s good enough for the executive branch, Comrade NObama, it`s good enough for the legislative branch. President Reagan`s budget director, David Stockman, offered a great solution to curb the corrupt politicians in Washington, when he said, `if the Securities & Exchange Commission had jurisdiction over the Executive & Legislative branches, many of us would be in jail. Amen.
Also, limit lobbyist's access to senators and create a half time senate. Create an ongoing site to force a monthly/yearly report on what each senator is doing, been a part of and what they have accomplished. What exactly are we paying them for. I don't know if six years is too short a time to be effective but only partial retirement and medical benefits. Stop the pork on unrelated bills. One plan per bill. Make them responsible!

This has to be done. Political office is a public service not a career. Two 4 year terms with NO benefits from us afterwards. They get plenty of "benefits" from the lobbyists. Same should hold true for the Supreme Court as well

God created all people equally. They can't jump off the planet. They need to work for a living too.
