The world at large has no idea of the extent and depth of Elvis’ generosity to others. He shared his wealth with many, usually anonymously and requesting no publicity. He donated regularly to many charities and gave his support to well known causes eg The March of Dimes, where he helped to gain support for the new Polio vaccination. He routinely paid medical bills for strangers as well as work colleagues and friends. He financially supported a huge group of people during his lifetime. He loved children and paid for operations. He was and still does embody the epitome of humanitarianism.
