Absolutely right it's all about revenue I spoke to the council parking inspectors that day and ask if they come every game they do.

I have previously emailed Tom Tait’s office with the usual government response “we will monitor and up the fines”

Parking was ridiculous on the weekend of the Monster Jam at CBus.
There should have been some type of traffic management in place to ensure that residents that live on Woody Views Way could safely access our own street and driveways.

Please don’t make this about revenue for Council. Residents are being fined for parking at their own property. Emergency vehicles would not fit in our street on event days. Residents passes would make the most sense in this situation. Please let common sense prevail and make necessary changes to parking in Woody View Way.
Thank you for considering this petition.

Strongly agree with this petition!!! Causes us as residents massive inconveniences with the amount of traffic that clearly don’t worry about signage, and as a resident if we don’t take notice of an event day or are away for the weekend we end up getting fined for having our vehicles on the street….

Many cars are parked down both sided of the street and there would be no room for an ambulance or fire brigade to fit down the street if required.

I have been affected by vehicles obstructing my driveway during events. I had one incident where I asked the driver to move and received a mouthful of foul language

With all of the illegal parking and volume of traffic in woody Views during game, as a resident we cannot get our cars out of the property I own and often get abuse from people when I ask them to move their vehicle.

This area is so congested on Stadium event days making it difficult to visit friends/family at these times

The visiting traffic in Woody Views Way during CBus events is causing stress and danger to the lives of residents.

I’m siging this petition, because I feel unsafe at night in my own home and I’m scared to go outside after football game or event had been on as there are so many drunk people leaving the game and get in there cars to drive home. The public also leave rubbish all through our street after and make it impossible to leave as it turns into a one way street with how many cars are jam packed down the road.

There used to be a perfectly good system in place that stopped access from others, allowed residents into their own street and gave them a pass to park on the street - which those of us in the Villas Tijuana complex cannot now access - and stopped the congestion and mess we now find the next day. I wrote to our Councillor about this, was referred elsewhere, and nothing was ever done. Does someone have to die from an ambulance or fire brigade being unable to get in to our street, for someone to pay attention.

It is becoming so hazardous even trying to get to our own homes as you cannot see any cars coming when it's so congested with people parked on both sides of the road

Used to be better when access was limited and controlled. If there is an emergency ambulance will not fit through the parked cars

It’s absolutely ridiculous that the council haven’t already included our street in the no go zone.
From the number of fines they are well aware of the problems we face.

I feel the council are making far to much money out of our street in fines from illegal parking to think about the residents. The council have the parking inspectors well organised to make a zillion in fines from our street and greed overrides common sense.
