Mr. Tweet is a good principal. It is important that he stays because he does lots of amazing things to help kids.

I strongly support retaining Principal Tweet in his position at DES. He has been a positive, consistent source of stability for the learning environment for my child and for the educators at the school.

We already lost one amazing principal, we can’t lose another one in a span of 2 years. He was there throughout my whole elementary school years. He is super positive, funny, helpful, he deserves this job & so do all the students and staff.

As a former DES student, I understand how important having consistincy is. By not offering Nick Tweet the contract for principal again, this creates unnessary destability at DES. It's not beneficial to the staff, and it's a detriment to the kids' education.

This decision is not in the best interest of Mr. Tweet, and it will greatly impact the students in a negative way….in whose interest is it being made??

It saddens me that the district continues to make such abrupt changes. The students are suffering the most from these changes. Both elementary principals were active community members, dedicated administrators & leaders that were supportive to the staff.

Mr. Tweet was a teacher when I was in elementary. I was jealous of my classmates for being in his class because it always seemed so fun. Mr. Tweet is a nice guy and Dillingham elementary is benefitting with him as principal.

Coming out of COVID, I believe our students have experiences an immense amount of change and trauma. We as a society are bouncing back, but it takes time. Mr. Tweet, throughout the past 2 years, has demonstrated competency and compassion. I feel like Mr. Tweet really cares about every student in his school, including my first grader. Mr. Tweet represents stability and care, which is paramount to student success in this time. Please retain Mr. Tweet as principal of DES.

This man his been around our community since I’ve be in elementary. He was my fifth grade teacher. He has kids in both schools and has great intentions in our community. I would hate to see him removed as the elementary principal

I really like mr tweet being principal. Maybe getting rid of a dude that knows every teacher and student personally for the 2nd time isn’t a great idea. Whoever keeps deciding these things is a goober

I support Nick Tweet as DES principal. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nick during last years summer school and he goes above and beyond to help out students succeed. Consistency and stability is one of the greatest assets we could give our students, but by this decision we are saying that isn’t the case. I fully support Tweet as principal.

A failure in leadership to not recognize the success and value of Nick Tweet as Elementary principal. It is an impending disaster for the students and school to loose two valuable administrators in such a short amount of time. I'd suggest that instead we continue the revolving door process with itinerant superintendents until one with competence arrives!
