Petition to urge IMU to provide transportation for Gombak visit AND decrease the amount to be paid as hostel fees for BP and Kluang

IMU, please show us the official payment details of the accommodation fees.

I don't know whether IMU can read and understand English or not? All my batchmates including me have been email'ing ASD regarding to these issue but all we got are - NOTHING!! So, I'm gonna type in Chinese. Perhaps, some of you guys from ASD understand what we are talking about. 我们其实搞不懂sem 5 短短4个月 ( 学费 ：RM 43,340.00 ) 为什么没有提供交通去 Hospital Gombak 和 Hospital Kluang/Batu Pahat？Ok, 你们说Gombak 很近在KL area （35.2km), 所以叫我们自己准备交通. Fine. 我们自己想办法. Johor 难道也很近？从IMU 到 Hospital Kluang (250km) 或 到 Hospital Batu Pahat (245km). 200km++ 也很近? 你们所谓的“远”是几远？到月球吗？ 至少载我们来回 Johor 也好嘛. 不要吝啬啦.. 宿舍也要自己付钱，也不是普通的贵. 我们有些从外坡来的，还要付两边的宿舍 . 对我们来说是一个很负担的大负担. 照理来说, Hospital visit 是 academic curriculum 的一部分， 所以我们的学费 (RM 43,340) 应该包括在内的. 我知道你们只是听从上司做事，如果你们有良心的话, 希望你们能帮我们把这些话转告给你们的上司那RM 43,340 到底用在哪里？ 还有为什么Grouping List 还会 last minute 更改的？我们已经找安排交通到 Johor, 突然一改，你要我们如何是好？如果你们安排交通给我们，不就没事了吗？ 将心比心，你们有些已经为人父母, 如果你们孩子遭到这样的对待，你们会坐视不理吗？ 希望你们能给我们一个合理的理由. 谢谢 如果你们还是不明白华语，请告诉我们. 我们会用另一个语言跟你们沟通. I think the fees we pay should be enough to cover this small thing. Put your shoes in the international students' shoe, they can not drive themselves around here. "Ask their friends" you may say. Well not every local students have the luxury of driving their own car.

We are only actually in IMU for 2months2weeks this semester. Government hospitals do not impose fees for students to be posted there, no? If the posting is part of the curriculum, it should have been accounted for when we paid our fees.

Transportation is really a major issue here.

Maybe IMU should reduce everything they are charging. They aren't even providing enough. For example, the internet is non-existent. During every PBL, I have always let others google. Why? Because the internet just wouldn't work. 10 bucks says IMU is charging so much because of the demand. They know no matter how much they charge, peopl- I mean customers will still come.

Transportation should be provided for students,or at least the taxi or petrol fees should be subsidized by IMU.Besides that,accomodation fees should be decrease as well.

Why IMU did not find Homestays as well in Kluang instead of a Hotel? Please clarify.

Please consider lowering / subsidising the hostel fee to a more affordable limit as we have paid an extensive amount for a semester with minimal lecture hours @ IMU Bukit Jalil.

The price is just too overwhelming for the accommodation in the sub urbs.

I want to know whoever in charge of this to answer one simple question. If your son's or daughters were in imu and paying around 10 mil( all the cohort) in fees and yet the uni doesn't provide transport , we have to fund our own community project ( funniest of them all) and on top of that rent out cars or buses and pay for accomodation. Are you going to be happy with that 10 MILLION money eating university?. Spare me the "we want our students to be independent " if that was really your main (if it was i applaude you) then pay for our accomodation and provide reimbursement for car rental?

Stop charging us too much on everything.
