This lake and the water usage affects the Medina river in which I own property. The usage of the lake water affects many others than just people around the lake.

Save the property values of the lake. Currently a lot of meth heads out there. Bring money back to the small town of Lakehills. Also when water is low in lake,peoples water wells go dry. We need the water!

Property taxes for those that own homes surrounding the dry lake area are not compensated during the drought period which can last 3-4 years. These taxes make up a good portion of the county's revenue for both Banderas and Medina. Presently, no board member display any signs of carrying.
