People pay tax on lakefront property and should have at least 50%of a lake

I have been a lifelong Texas Hill Country resident. I think that the State of Texas has let us down in it's duty to preserve the precious resources we have. Ir is a shame that I decided to retire to a area that overall has a higher property tax than elsewhere in the same county due to the fact that we are supposed to live on the lake, which is now empty. It is basically double dipping if you are charging higher taxes for those who live on the lake, but then turn around and sell off the water. We are only asking that the right thing be done. If we are not going to have a say in the water being sold off then we should have the same exact taxes as any other rural property owner in the county.

I dont usually support more government controls but this very old man-made lake needs permanent help. The last 112 years of management hasn't worked.

There appears to be zero effort to be responsible for the Medina precious water resource. Over 12x the water “sold” must be released from the lake. Open air, dirt ditches have are incredibly wasteful. BMA is irresponsible and has no oversight.
