I have been enjoying Medina lake since the late 70's, and now live in Lakehills. We need to Stop the Drain so future generations can enjoy this hill country gem.

Stop the 80% waste of water being pulled from Medina Lake. Personal ponds and tanks should not be allowed to draw water from what is being pulled for irrigation

The condition of the irrigation canals also needs to be addressed. There are leaks and unlawful distribution of water.

I am highly in agreement with everything that is written above. I have been a resident of Medina county for approximately 10 years. When we moved here there was a little bit of water in the lake. It took 2 years of rain 9 in., year 1, 10 in. Year 2. Then our lake was full for quite awhile. Now it’s completely dry!!!! Sad, very sad….

Out lake is so beautiful when it actually has water in it. The community deserves to have water, that is why we live out her instead of in the city.

I’m tired of looking at a dry lake bed and paying property taxes for water front property!
