Please preserve the natural areas in this new park by not fragmenting it with paved paths. If you must have these, they are best located on the perimeter of the property.

Fairfax County should regard parks as a key treasure - without them Fairfax County will no longer be a desirable address

I live in the Springfield District (between Greenbriar s.c. and Fair Oaks Mall) and agree that this area of Mount Vernon District should get the Fairchild property as a public park owned by the Fairfax County Park Authority. Sincerely, Andrew E. Roesell

Please preserve and protect the woodlands on the Fairchild property as a Fairfax County Park. The increasing population density of the Route 1/Mount Vernon District needs a natural area of respite.

All of our green in this part of the County is eroding away. There will be great pressure to develop this property - and we will then live in the Land of Pave. Please be prompt and do the right thing to make is preserved park land. We're counting on you.

Very much enjoyed speaking with you at the polling place. I feel confident that you will be sensitive to our needs here at this property.
