Crucial..and only a start..
Our rural area in North Cork has lost 4 GP Dover the last 6 months..
Can’t sustain these losses without viability..
In support and a real recognition of service by contract..

This erosion of General Practice has been coming for a while and until ye shout Stop it will continue because good health policy begins with primary care - essentially ye are on the frontline for all new initiatives. It up to ye to organize and to educate your patients about this.

Save our GP’s Ireland has the best training for Doctors and GPs and yet they are over worked and under paid how much money would you pay to save your life, the service they provide is priceless but yet our government can’t see the hills from the trees

Access to GP care is essential in maintaining a healthy and well society. Our children often live with many complex medical needs that require ongoing care and treatment in the primary care setting. We fully support FEMPI reversal and ask Minister Harris to now engage in a meaningful way with GPs to help ensure that all people have timely access to GP care. We need our GPs to care for our children.

I am a GP. I have no hope that the state of affairs will improve anytime soon. I cannot continue as things are at present so have handed in my resignation.
